At South Waterfront Eye Care, our philosophy is simple: we provide premium quality eye care services, promote healthy and sustainable lifestyles and contribute to our community – all while making sure our clinic upholds the style and panache that are hallmarks of Portland’s South Waterfront neighborhood!

South Waterfront Eye Care is about healthy eyes for life. With this in mind, we are committed to using the latest tools and technology to meet all of your eye care needs. Another way we keep your eyes healthy is by focusing on prevention. We want to be your go-to resource for all things eye related so that we can see any eye health issues as they arise and address them right away. Plus, the specialists at South Waterfront Eye Care will help put you in the driver’s seat when it comes to your eye health by providing you with the tools and knowledge you need to care for your eyes. After all, your vision is one of your most valuable assets.

We want you to see well and look great. Yes, good vision and eye health are our top priority, but not at the expense of your personal flair. At South Waterfront Eye Care, you won’t find mass produced frames. We are committed to supporting independent frame manufacturers, bringing you the best quality materials and unique and sophisticated styles that express your personality. When we shop around for frames, we don’t stop at brand names – we want to know the story behind the frames, how and where they were made, and why they suit the unique styles of our clientele.

South Waterfront Eye Care practices community involvement through volunteerism, sponsorships and contributions to local charities. We are proud sponsors, for instance of the South Waterfront Farmers Market!

We also support and welcome local artists to showcase their work at South Waterfront Eye Care! Please contact us at info@southwaterfronteyecare.com to submit your portfolio for consideration.

Dr. Mila Ioussifova, O.D. is a Doctor of Optometry in Portland, OR. It is my privilege to be your eye care provider at South Waterfront Eye Care. My goal is to take care of your eye care needs today, but also help you keep good vision and healthy eyes for life. I am a strong proponent of preventative care and believe that nutrition and natural lifestyle can help you be healthy and happy for life. I received my Doctor of Optometry degree in 2007 from New England College of Optometry and completed a community health-based residency program in Boston, MA. My training was extensive and diverse, including pediatric, geriatric, and primary care optometry, as well as, contact lens and ocular disease management. In 2009 I returned to Portland and re-discovered how lovely and one of a kind it is. Portlandians appreciate individuality and uniqueness. At South Waterfront Eye Care I want my patients to feel the personal service from the moment they walk in. While practicing optometry for the past 6 years, I have developed a special interest in ocular nutrition. Preventative care has become an important part of my practice. As a current adjunct clinical faculty at Pacific University College of Optometry, I have the honor of working with optometric interns. I am involved in clinical education, didactics and training of future optometrists. I am originally from Azerbaijan; I speak Azerbaijani and Russian. Мы говорим по-русский!
