We are thrilled to present our new artist, the talented photographer: Kurt Shanaman. Kurt Shanaman a designer with a unique eye and innovative design sense. His natural ability to look at subject matter in a different way has allowed him to be a successful visual designer and photographer since the mid ‘90s. Kurt’s passion in visual design began in 1985 while he was a teenager assisting Henry Fechtman, master of industrial photography. Henry, Kurt’s mentor and teacher at the time, encouraged Kurt not only to be a photographer, but most importantly, to become a great designer. Working for Henry and attending weekend workshops at Brooks institute in Santa Barbara, soon led Kurt to attend Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. While at Art Center, Kurt developed his own personal design sense which has enabled him to become a successful visual designer today. Some of Kurt’s innovative design concepts have included the the creation of the Fishflex Skatedeck, the Neskowin Card company, Neskowinland.com and the Oregon Coast Exotic Car Show. Kurt’s analog photography and digital images of America’s Southwest, Europe and Costa Rica can now be seen at Eyedeology Optical Studio. For more about Kurt, visit www.PhotoKAS.com
